i want to open a book store that is 24 hours and people can finally go out at like 2am and be like “i just finished the first book in the series i need the next one stat” or if people are just having a stressful night and want to be surrounded by books
My favorite part about this post is that someone understands that it’s calming to be surrounded by books
Friendly reminder this show was filmed in front of a live studio audience in one take.
And that all sitcom laugh tracks are taken from this show because the laughter was so sincere.
friendly reminder that this show was fuckin awesome
And most of the people who were recorded laughing are dead now. When you hear people laughing in sitcoms today, it’s the recorded laughter of dead people.
Well that escalated quickly
I mean…I almost let this go…because who cares…but none of this is true. Though they did film in front of a live audience (many shows still do) and rarely did second takes, they didn’t shoot the whole episode in one take (which implies that there were no cuts (which, if you watch the show, there obviously were.))
Also, today’s sitcom laugh tracks don’t come from I Love Lucy, the kind of laughter those audiences had would feel completely out of place in a modern show. In fact, ‘I Love Lucy’ would even occasionally sweeten its own laughter with canned chuckles.
HOWEVER…the reminder that this show is fucking awesome is totally appreciated, because it is. Lucy is an inspiration to me as a creator and a businessperson. There’s a ton of episodes on YouTube if you’re in the mood.
putting tumblr “facts” in their place <3 thank goodness its not a lonely fight
Weren’t they married in real life? And by the time the show was ending they were divorcing because he had cheated on her? Also, i read something that said the lady who played Lucy’s bff actually hated (or strongly disliked) her in real life.
Could be wrong. Either way, the tv show was good. I couldn’t watch a lot of it all at once cause it would make me anxious (she just is so dumb in the show and i ended up getting angry like i do when i have to watch kid shows and they can’t do anything w/out stoping and asking questions every 5 seconds)
So if you have been keeping up with Dragon Age Inquisition, you would know that it has been pushed back until Nov. 18 instead of its original date if Oct. 7.
Good thing: It’s still releasing this year
Bad thing: thats a whole other month
So what i’m wondering, my GameStop info still says i should expect to pick up my pre-order on Oct. 10. I figure that will change, but what i’m really wondering is what made them decide to push it back?
I mean, if their doing it so the game can be even better, then so be it! But i wonder what in the game did it? Like where they having a troublesome glitch that needed more time to fix? Or maybe they decided to add something, like a quest? Or maybe they needed more time to be able to make some DLC stuff? Hmmmmmmm…i wonder…
tha guy on the cliff he just finished highschool and what he did was he threw all his school papers and books over the cliff screaming “take that” personally i think that its really cool because in a way its like hes free. He went through four years of studying, exams, memorizing things that didn’t even matter but now he’s free now he can finally be free and i bet its the best feeling in the world
